Seasonal Help

Flexible, rapid-deployment staffing solutions for peak operational demands and short-term requirements.

Overview

Operational demands fluctuate. Applied Gorkha Solutions offers rapid-deployment seasonal staffing solutions for clients who need to scale their security or manpower capacity at short notice.

Seasonal demand is predictable in shape and unforgiving in timing. A hotel group short-staffed in its high season, a processor that misses a harvest window, or an event operator without crew on build week does not have the option of waiting another month for paperwork. This modality exists to compress the lead time without compressing the checks.

Our seasonal help programme draws on a pre-vetted pool of Gurkha and Nepalese personnel who have completed our standard training and compliance processes. This means we can deploy qualified personnel typically within 72 hours of a confirmed requirement.

That speed comes from preparation, not from shortcuts. The pool has already cleared identity and document validation, employment verification, criminal-record screening, and medical clearance, so the work that normally takes weeks is done before the requirement arrives. What remains is matching, contracting, documentation, and travel.

Seasonal deployments range from a minimum of two weeks to a maximum of six months, covering event security, harvest and agricultural security, construction site security, and temporary manpower gaps in our clients' operations.

Contracts are written to project tenure rather than forced into open-ended terms. Both sides know the start date, the end date, and what happens if the season runs long or ends early — fairer to the worker, and considerably easier for the employer to plan around.

For larger mobilisations an on-site coordinator can deploy with the team, giving the client a single point of contact who manages rosters, handles welfare issues, and resolves problems locally instead of routing every question back to Kathmandu across time zones.

Because these are short deployments, worker welfare needs more attention rather than less. Seasonal workers are the group most exposed to unclear terms and unexpected costs, so candidates are briefed on their contract, their pay, and their return arrangements before they travel, in line with our published code of ethics.
