In 2015–2016, Applied Gorkha Solutions was engaged by ONTOS Recruitment Agency, Poland, to recruit and supply approximately 300 Nepalese general workers for deployment across various factories and industrial sites in Poland.
The project involved a substantial workforce requirement serving multiple locations and employers. AGS was required to establish a reliable recruitment pipeline and progressively deliver suitable candidates according to the requirements of the Polish market.
High-volume recruitment: approximately 300 workers were required.
Multiple locations: workers were destined for different factories and industrial sites.
Varying employer requirements: different sites required candidates with different levels of experience and suitability.
Extended mobilisation: the recruitment programme continued over a period of 2–10 months.
International processing: candidate documentation, medical examinations and deployment formalities had to be carefully coordinated.
Continuous supply: AGS needed to maintain a steady pool of suitable candidates throughout the project.
AGS mobilised its established recruitment network throughout Nepal to generate a substantial pool of candidates suitable for general-worker positions.
Candidates were screened against the requirements provided by ONTOS and its client companies, with attention to work experience and practical suitability, physical fitness, reliability and discipline, documentation, and readiness for overseas employment.
Given the requirement for multiple factories and sites, AGS maintained an active pool of candidates so that workers could be selected and processed as individual vacancies became available.
AGS coordinated candidate documentation, medical examinations and the necessary overseas employment formalities to prepare selected workers for deployment.
Rather than treating the requirement as a single batch, AGS managed recruitment and mobilisation progressively throughout the 2–10 month project period, responding to the changing requirements of ONTOS and its client sites.
Applied Gorkha Solutions successfully supplied approximately 300 Nepalese general workers to ONTOS Recruitment Agency in Poland during 2015–2016.
The workers were deployed across various factories and industrial sites, demonstrating AGS's ability to manage a sizeable European manpower requirement involving multiple locations, multiple vacancies and an extended recruitment programme.
